This very much reminded me of my own greyhound experience the week I decided to runaway from college. My characters: a Guatemalan rodeo clown with a garbage bag for a suitcase, the Buddhist monk that didn’t speak English but blessed me anyway, the 2 police officers beating a woman outside of Selma, AL, and the Greyhound attendant that told me “Yeah, we don’t really look at the tickets. Get on any bus you want.”

We should compare notes.

What a fabulous way to take a small break at work… That was, and will be, so hilarious and identifiable to anyone who loves or has ever loved a cat. I saw an awful lot of Chloe in there, aside from the straws. Chloe entertains herself solely these days with torturing the dog in any way, shape or form possible. The 10 lb cat makes the 60 lb dog quiver with fear under the dining room table NIGHTLY. Yep, I’d say you’re right about world domination. =)

I got a bike for Christmas as well! We should ride together sometime. I also need to buy a helmet, so if you find a good one that is reasonably priced let me know!

Purse dialing is quite a problem for me. But my purse always calls one person, Paige. I also have a blackberry and I blame the location of the P key. Paige is one of Ben’s ex-girlfriends whom I love, but I know she must think it is crazy that her ex-boyfriend’s new wife calls her all of the time. At first I would apologize but now I am just embarrassed.

This is in fact a very old Southern thing. I remember as a child as young as four or five drinking coffee for breakfast. If you open my family photo album, you will indeed see photographical evidence. The Grandkids sitting around my Grandparents breakfast table…each with a cup-o-joe. Suffices to say, it was more milk than coffee. I think at first it was just the whole wanting to be a grown up…then turned into an addiction. I’ve loved it as long as I can remember. And to tell of a little more of my madness…I drink coffee black only in the morning and with cream (no sugar) at night.
